Charlotte Louise Stark, age 89, of Sawyer, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, May 2, 2016, in her home with her family at her side.
Charlotte was born April 8, 1927 in Chesterton, Indiana, the daughter of William and Helen (Kliemchen) Krone. She married Robert Stark, March 11, 1949. They spent 57 wonderful years together before Robert’s passing in 2006. Charlotte will be remembered for enjoying her gardening. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charlotte was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sawyer, Michigan, where she attended school and was confirmed. Charlotte was a beautician and proud owner of, Charlotte’s Cut and Curl in New Troy, Michigan.
Charlotte will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children: LeRoy Stark, Gloria Stark Harfert, Bruce Stark, Dennis (Rhonda) Stark; her grandchildren: David, Rick, Doug, Michele, Jacob, Rachel; her great-grandchildren: Devin, Heidi, Grayson, Jozey, and one on the way in May; her sister Evelyn Cappelletti; her brother Wallace (Adeline) Krone; as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Robert, her sister Lucille Krone, and her great-grandson Robert.
Family and friends will gather Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M., held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5791 Sawyer Road, Sawyer, Michigan 49125.
The Reverend Randy Lett will be officiating.
Charlotte will be laid to rest in Graceland Cemetery, Lake Township, Michigan.
