Carl Anthony Kaminski

Carl Anthony Kaminski, 70, of Galien, MI, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph, MI.

He was born May 28, 1947 in Chicago, IL to the late Florian and Elizabeth Kaminski. Carl graduated from De La Salle Collegiate High School, and Western Michigan University. After graduating he worked for The Leo Burnett Agency. He also helped his father with his whole sale meat business and was owner of The Royalty Restaurant in Chicago before moving to Michigan. Carl became a realtor receiving his license in 1993 and won a number of awards during his career, and currently was Associate Broker with Pier Realty in St. Joseph, MI. He will be remembered for the wonderful meals he hosted in his home, and gifts of friendship bread and apples for everyone. Carl is survived by his sister, Christine (Angelo) Speno of Dunedin, FL; niece, Cara Schultz-Rutherford and her children, Jordon, Morgan, and Logan of St. Augustine, FL; niece, Julie Schultz of Columbia, MO; niece, Bonnie (Michael) Schultz-Duffey and her children, Samantha, Reese, and Brooke of Palm Harbor, FL; aunt, Zosia Newmann of Minnesota; many cousins and too many friends to count.

Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place at a later date at Glendora Cemetery; Weesaw Twp., MI. Carl will be interred with the remains of his beloved dogs, Pepper, Dakota, and Cheyenne.
