James Edward Burrows, 60, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away March 26, 2018 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, MI. A celebration of life will be held June 9, 2018. James was born June 12, 1957 in South Haven, MI to James and Donna (Soristo) Burrows. After graduating from South Haven High School he proudly served his country in the United States Army. James worked as a marine mechanic at Brian’s Marina for over thirty years. He enjoyed riding his Goldwing motorcycle and “jeeping” as often as he could. Most of all he loved vacationing and spending time with the love of his life, Teresa Willett, his children and grandchildren.
James is survived by his partner, Teresa; father, James Burrows and his partner, Pat Shaffer; children, Heidi (Trent) Megna of Benton Harbor and Douglas Burrows of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Landen Megna, Tye Megna and Colten Megna; sister, Patty Hinz; brother, Tracy (Debbie) Burrows; nieces, Casey and Shelby; nephews, Corey and Kyle and former spouse, Elizabeth Burrows.
James is preceded by his mother, Donna (Soristo) Burrows.
