Donald Roger Vigansky, 85, of Buchanan, MI, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Woodland Terrace of Longmeadow, Niles, MI.
He was born October 12, 1932 in Baroda, MI to the late Henry and Grace May (Nixon) Vigansky. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Donald worked for Clark’s Equipment for 32 years, and then retired from Hertz after 15 years.
Donald is survived by his children, Daniel (Jackie) Vigansky of Buchanan, Vanessa Vigansky of Buchanan, David (Vanita) Vigansky of Buchanan, Donald (Penny) Vigansky of Niles; brothers, Charles (Rosie) Vigansky, Bradley Vigansky; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Grace; brother, Henry Vigansky; sisters, Aileen Morgan, and Janet Wilkes.
Visitation for Donald will be held from 6 – 8 pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan and at 10 am prior to the service on Friday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1733 W. Glendora Rd., Buchanan, MI with Pastor Jonathan Bendewald officiating. Burial will follow at New Troy Cemetery.
