Lori was born April 27, 1961 in Benton Harbor, Michigan; the daughter of James and Beverly (Andres) Danneffel. She was a graduate of Watervliet High School. She and Tom Smith were married on April 9, 1983. Lori was a stay at home mom whose joy came from raising their three daughters. She was very family orientated. Lori often referred to herself as a professional grandmother because she not only cared for her own grandchildren, but also the children of her daughters friends or anyone else that needed to be watched. She was also a cookie maker, an avid gift giver, a lizard lover and enjoyed doing puzzles, and stuff and whatever.
Lori is survived by her husband Tom; daughters Lindsay (Eric) Clark of Paw Paw, Kimberly (Francis) Aboagye of Hartford and Jennifer (Timothy) Fields of Holland; two brothers, Jay (Valerie) Danneffel of Holland and Rex Danneffel of Boulder City, Nevada; her father James Danneffel of Watervliet; four grandchildren, Karinna Martinez, Oliver Clark, Emerson Clark and Kyrie Aboagye; sister-in-law Beth (Butch) Rhode of Eau Claire; step mother-in-law Verna Smith of Watervliet; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Beverly Danneffel; her father-in-law Thomas Smith and mother-in-law Shirley Smith.
She always left a little SPARKLE everywhere she went.
