
Trenton Lee Newton, age 24, of Cassopolis, died in a weather related accident Monday evening, January 28, 2019 in Cassopolis.
He was born November 16, 1994 in Berrien Springs, the youngest of five children born to Timmy and Glenna Newton.
Trenton loved his family. He enjoyed playing his video games and hanging out with his friends. He was quiet and kept to himself but wasn’t afraid to speak his mind.
Trenton will be greatly missed by family and friends. He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, Timmy and Glenna Newton of Cassopolis; one son; one brother, Christopher (Lacey) Newton of Cassopolis; sisters, Veronica (Robert) Wallace of Dowagiac, Kristina (Brandon) Compton of Decatur, Danielle (Justin) Kasper of Elkhart, Indiana; and maternal grandparents, Harold and Marcella Peterson; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Trenton was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Marie Newton and two nephews, Hunter and Gabriel Wallace.
Family and friends will gather Friday, February 1st, 2019 from 12 o’clock noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis.
Mr. Newton will be laid to rest in Dailey Cemetery, Dailey, Michigan.
The family prefers contributions in Trenton’s memory be made to Kalamazoo Autism Society, 814 South Westnedge Avenue, Kalamazoo, Michigan, 49008.
