Donald L. Bohle, 77, of Coloma passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, April 6, 2019.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 11 beginning at 3 PM, concluding at 5 pm with Military Honors at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Cremation will take place following the visitation. Memorial donations in Donald’s memory may be made to the North Berrien Firefighters Association. Donald was born Sept. 6, 1941 in Michigan City, Indiana, the youngest of nine of George and Grace (Pierson) Bohle. He was raised from a very young age by the John and Christine (Bohle) Duffield Family in Coloma. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam Era. Donald retired from Whirlpool Corp in 2009 after 42 years of service. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, deer hunting with the guys, and trying his luck at the casino.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin ( Tracy) Bohle of Sparta, Todd (Theresa) Bohle of Coloma, a daughter Tami (Todd) Schacknies of Berrien Springs; and seven grandchildren, Hanna and Matthew Bohle, Cory and Dylan Bohle, and Whitney, Kayla, and Trevor Schacknies. He is also survived by his extended family members, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Donald was preceded in death his wife Judy in 2011 and all of his brothers and sisters.
