png-obituaries-18-7

In loving memory of Linda Jean Marler, 74 of Coloma who left us on May 21st, 2023, at South Haven Nursing and Rehab.

Cremation has taken place.  The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday, June 9th at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma.  Immediately following the one hour of visiting at the funeral home everyone is invited to join the family for a luncheon at the Coloma American Legion, Post 362 where Linda had worked for many, many years.

She was born on April 15th, 1949, in Benton Harbor to Harold and Margaret Sanders. In her early adulthood she went back to school and got her GED. The family moments she enjoyed the most were all the holidays that were spent with family along with taking her great grand kids to the Youth Fair every year.  She enjoyed her Sundays off from working, shopping, and watching her Christmas movies when the time came around. If you were involved in her life in any way you were a very lucky person because Linda was a great woman with a kind and loving heart who would be there for you through any situation.

Linda is survived by her four brothers, Raymond Sanders, James Showan, Rodney Sanders, and William Sanders her two sisters, Paulette Sanders and Rebecca Mathis and her daughter Donna Lewis. Also surviving are her grandkids Kimberly Sanders, James Wilbur and Brandon Sanders, along with four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Marler and her son David Sanders.
