Carol Jean Scott 83, passed away, Thursday June 29, 2023. Born on August 25, 1939 in Hammond Indiana to Milford and Margaret Pearson. United in marriage to the late Joseph Scott.
Carol is survived by children; Lisa Russell, David Rife and Sue Rife, 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Also survived by siblings; Martha Darcy, Mary Johnson and Jerry Pearson.
Preceded in death by her parents Milford and Margaret, husband Joseph and son Michael Rife.
Carol was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved playing in her garden with her flowers and crocheting. She was also a big garage sale person and liked collecting antiques. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
A graveside service for Carol will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Lawrence Hill Cemetery. Pastor Eric Jarvis will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Filbrandt Chapel-Starks Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Services. 269-637-0333.
