Charles “Bacon” Rossow Jr, 58, a lifelong resident of Dowagiac, passed away Thursday evening, July 27, 2023 at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. He was born on March 29, 1965 in Dowagiac, MI.
He was a 1983, graduate of Dowagiac Union High School. On August 27, 1994, he was united in marriage to Tracey L. Proshwitz.
Surviving are his wife of 28 years: Tracey Rossow; three children: Anthony (Wendy) Green, Nicholas Rossow and Jacob Rossow; three sisters: Debra (Jerry) Zachary, Brenda (Randy) Diamond and Suzanne (Jeff) Tobias; brother: Burton (Shelly) Dodd; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Preceding him in death were his mother and step-father: Sundae (Carpenter) and Terry Dodd; father: Charles Rossow Sr.
Funeral services to celebrate Charles’ life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, Aug 4, at Calvary Bible Church, 27032 Marcellus Hwy, Dowagiac. Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 PM on Thursday, Aug 3, at Clark Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, 405 Center Street, Dowagiac.
