Terry Leigh Myers, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023, in Niles, Michigan. Born on August 26, 1948, to the late John and Shirley (Bane) Champlain, in Waggoner, Oklahoma, Terry’s life was marked by her loving, selfless, and gentle nature.
Terry was the cherished wife of Martin Myers. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Lori Myers and Michele Allen of Dowagiac, and a doting grandmother to Lauren (Jason) Isabel of Niles and Andrew Myers of Dowagiac. Her great-grandchildren, K’lynn, Bentley, Aaliyah, and Jaxson, brought immense joy and laughter into her life.
A proud graduate of Niles High School, Terry went on to have a successful career as a Pharmacy Technician. Her dedication to her work was evident, and she brought her caring nature to every interaction.
Terry had a variety of interests that brought her happiness. Her family was the most important aspect of her life, and she was always there to lend a hand or share a kind word. She was an avid shopper and a member of the Michigan Cruisers, where her competitive spirit shone. Terry also had a unique hobby of collecting turtles in all shapes and sizes, which brought her great joy. Her love for crime and drama related movies and TV shows, along with Family Feud and The Price Is Right, showcased her keen interest in problem-solving and entertainment.
Terry is preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Myers and parents John and Shirley Champlain.
