Bobby Ross Rogers, 86, of Coloma, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Lakeland Hospital with his family by his side.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, December 27th, at Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma and burial will follow at Coloma Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon immediately prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made in Bobby’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Bobby was born September 16, 1937 in Madisonville, Tennessee to Mack and Reba Rogers. He met and later married his best friend, the love of his life, Sharon Bishop, and the couple celebrated 60 wonderful years together raising their four daughters. They enjoyed going out dancing and taking family vacations together. Bobby loved NASCAR, Jeff Gordon, and being outside. Whether it was working on cars, tinkering in his shed, or sitting with Sharon on their porch reminiscing for hours.
Bobby is survived by his wife Sharon; daughters Tina (David ) Sears of Lawrence, Lisa Moore of Coloma, Sherri (Roy) Van Egmond of South Haven, and Christina Poole of St. Joseph; two brothers, Norman (Sheila) Rogers and Barcey Rogers; a sister Sue Hall; and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Reba; two sisters, Fay (Lloyd) Gokey and Linda (Jim) Williams; and two granddaughters, Crystal Lee Moore and Laura Beth Swartzlander.
