James Robert Foster, Jr., 69, of Three Oaks, passed, Friday, December 29, 2023.
His life began April 26, 1954, in Niles, Michigan, the oldest of four children born to James and Doris Foster. He married Judy Williams in Niles, Michigan in 1974.
James enjoyed mushroom and animal hunting, fishing, and working with his hands. When the weather was nice, he rode his motorcycle as often as he could. Even after he had a stroke and chronic illness, James was always happy to lend a helping hand. He and Judy began dating in 1971 and ever since, he was the light of her life.
James will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of forty-nine years, Judy Foster of Three Oaks; three sons, John (Tremble) Hauenstein of Texas, Jeffrey Foster of Niles, and Justin (Stephanie) Foster of Coloma; eight grandchildren; one brother, Dale (Heather) Foster; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Cindy Kuhl; and one brother, Mike Foster.
Family and friends will gather at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024, in the Roy Chilson American Legion Post #344, 402 North Main Street, Galien, Michigan 49113.
