Micky Keith Snook, born on October 24, 1950, in Niles, Michigan, passed away on December 19, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of the Niles, Buchanan area and was known by many for his adventurous spirit and dedicated work ethic. As a retired truck driver, Micky was a stalwart of the commercial transportation industry, known for his reliability and unwavering commitment to his job. His life was a living example of a quote by Thomas A. Edison, “There is no substitute for hard work.”

Micky was a supportive father and a devoted grandfather, who valued family above all else. He instilled his love for adventure and witty humor in his children and grandchildren, always encouraging them to seek out the beauty in life and to face challenges with courage. In his free time, Micky was a skilled woodworker, crafting beautiful pieces that will serve as lasting memories of his talent and dedication.

Micky is survived by his son, Mike (Nikki) Snook, step-daughter Beth Ropp, and his beloved grandchildren Dominic Snook, Shelby Snook, Chris Ropp, Cortni Gallegos, Gillian (Britni) Zabel, Bree Chapman, Travis Chapman, and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie Snook, his father Cleo Snook, his mother Beth Snook , and his siblings Janice Hand, Bob Snook, and Dale Snook.
