A Christian Funeral will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1965 Broadway Ave., Benton Harbor, with Rev. Nathan Buch officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Judy was born April 3, 1947 in Benton Harbor to Wilbert & Doris (Cooper) Blackburn. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School, Class of 1964. On May 24, 1965, she married Arthur Curry in Benton Harbor. Judy devoted her life to caring for her husband, her three children and their home. She enjoyed family camping trips for many years, and volunteered for 4-H and Animal Aid. Judy was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and enjoyed time spent with her many Church friends, and cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Judy is survived by her two sons-David Curry of Wyoming, MI, Paul Curry of Berrien Springs; three grandchildren-Alyssa Curry, Timothy (Emily) Curry & Daniel Curry; ten great-grandchildren-Sailee, Dalton, Meya, Arthur, Eric, Gavin, Bennett, Adrian, Kaylee & Sophia; her brother Larry (Priscilla) Blackburn of Holland, MI; sister-in-law Nancy Blackburn of Zeeland, MI; and numerous nieces & nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur, her daughter Priscilla Curry, an infant great-grandson Edward and her brother Jerry Blackburn.
