Dianne Lynn Bachman, 70 of South Haven, passed away surrounded by her family Saturday, May 18, 2024. Born on September 17 1953 in Allegan Michigan to Casimir and Irene Wiacek.
Dianne is survived by her daughters; K.C. (Scott) Hall and Michelle Bachman, Grandchildren; Jackson Williams, Griffin Williams, Tayden Bachman, Landon Hall and Lincoln Hall. Also survived by siblings; Carolyn (Dave) Newcomb, Patti Waite and Chuck Wiacek.
Preceded in death by her parents Casimir, Irene and the love of her life, husband Thomas Bachman. Also preceded by brother-in- law Cliff Waite.
Dianne graduated from Bangor High School with the class of 1971. She began her career in retail at Harding’s Market in Bangor before moving to Harding’s, D&W, and finally Village Market, all in South Haven.
Dianne dedicated her life to serving the community of South Haven. When she wasn’t serving the community, she was caring for her husband, lovingly known as “Little Tommy,” along with other family members. Her pride and joy were her grandsons, with whom she shared special bonds. Anyone who knew her has heard countless stories about them. Dianne was very close to her siblings and cherished the time spent with her lifelong friends. She always put a smile on everyone’s face and will be remembered for her compassion, sense of humor, and generosity. Dianne was known for always having food available and for her unique campfire songs, often performed with a wax paper and comb. Her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Visitation for Dianne will be held on Tuesday May 28 from 11 a.m. until the time of her Memorial Service at 1 p.m. at the Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 South Bailey Ave. South Haven, Michigan 49090. Pastor Travis Wilson will officiate. Dianne will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Thomas Bachman at Arlington Hills Cemetery in Bangor Michigan.
