Saturday, April 30, 2016 is the 2016 Mrs. Southwest Michigan Scholarship Program, Southwest Michigan’s Pre-Teen Scholarship Program & Southwest Michigan’s Princess Scholarship Program at 6:00pm. The competition will be held at the Bridgman High School Preforming Arts Center featuring Miss Southwest Michigan 2016 – Alyssa Putnum, Miss Southwest Michigan Teen 2016 – Heather Hammond, Southwest Michigan’s Pre-Teen 2015 – Kimberly Spaulding, Southwest Michigan’s Princess 2015 – Raven Medesma & Mrs. Michigan United States 2015 – Christina Ackerman. Tickets will be available at the door. There will be six young ladies competing for the title of Southwest Michigan’s Princess 2016, Mahana Lorene Ashbrook of Berrien Springs, Abiageal Jade Smith of Coloma, Kendyl Marlo Smith of Coloma, Kourtney Mary-Etta Smith of Coloma, Ireland Ci’ophia Emerald Fisher-Tucker of South Haven & London Adrianne Joelynn Tucker of South Haven. There will be three young ladies competing for the title of Southwest Michigan’s Pre-Teen 2016, Kendra Lea Briley of Hartford, Jenna Paige Clark of St. Joseph, Amelia Adelyne Harris of Baroda. There will be three ladies competing for the title of Mrs. Southwest Michigan 2016, Sarah Elizabeth Briley of Hartford, Pennie Sue Hammond of Dowagiac, Jamie Lee Kastelic of St. Joseph. The recipients of all Programs will represent the Southwest Michigan Scholarship Program and may go on to a State Pageant of their choice. Proceeds from all Programs will help provide scholarships which are awarded through the Southwest Michigan Scholarship Program. The Southwest Michigan Scholarship Program focus is to teach the young people here in the Greater Southwest Michigan Area –Leadership, Community Service, Respect & Honor. All scholarships awarded through this Program are given to the young people in the Greater Southwest Michigan Area only. The Southwest Michigan Scholarship Program is not affiliated with the Southwest Michigan Scholarship Pageant, the Miss Michigan Scholarship Pageant, Inc., or Miss America Organizations.
