The Dowagiac Conservation Club will host it’s 23rd Annual Hunter’s Rendezvous, this event is free and open to the public! Many events throughout the day: For youth 16 and under there will be a youth turkey calling contest, as well as hourly free raffles just for being in attendance. The club’s trophy barn will be open with various displays and will house certified scorers. If you have a trophy you would like scored, you can bring it to the event and have it completed for free. An antique gun appraiser will also be on site from 11am-2pm. Main raffle tickets can be purchased for $5.00 at the event, prizes include a fully stocked freezer with meat from Clearwater Meats, a Ruger .350 Legend w/Vortex Scope or a Kong 70 Quart Cooler. There will also be a Silent Auction, 50/50 Raffles and food available for purchase. The Hunter’s Rendezvous is the clubs primary fundraiser for our Youth Education Fund which initiates various programs throughout the year, including hunter’s safety classes, hosting nature programs, sending kids to the Michigan United Conservation Club summer camps and continuing our Youth Archery Program.
