Impeccable harmonies, dazzling choreography, flashy outfits, and those instantly-recognizable grooves everyone knows and loves – A Motown Christmas Spectacular, celebrating “the music and the magic of Motown,” features an all-star line-up of vocalists and musicians assembled from the ranks of the Capitols, the Miracles, and former members of the Temptations. The performers, collectively known as The Motortown All-Stars, have each paid their dues performing with Motown legends on stages around the world. You will hear the Temptations, Four Tops, Jackson Five, Stevie Wonder, and Supremes’ hits you know and love, such as “My Girl,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” and “Ooh, Baby, Baby” as well as holiday classics like “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “Silent Night” performed in that inimitable Motown style. Accompanying the Detroit vocal group will be a 12-piece orchestra of live strings and brass, adding yet another level of excitement to those classic arrangements.
