Community members are invited to attend “Embracing Hospice at Home,” wine and beer tasting benefit for Hospice at Home, a Lakeland Health Affiliate, scheduled for Saturday, August 6, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The event will take place on the property of Dan and Mary Nulty, along the South Beach bluff in South Haven, located at 456 Monroe Boulevard.

Live music will be provided by Brian Vander Ark, Lead Singer for The Verve Pipe. While enjoying Brian’s music, guests will enjoy tastings from 14 local wineries and breweries, complimented by heavy hors d’oeuvres from Phoenix Street Catering and Restaurant. Guests will also have the opportunity to become a “Lifting Spirits” club member by purchasing a day of hospice care for a patient. All donors will receive a hand-blown wine goblet in appreciation.

An “Eat, Drink, and Be Giving” silent auction will take place throughout the evening featuring dinner party packages for eight, including the venue, personal chef, food, and drink courtesy of Shores Real Estate and Vacation Rentals.

All proceeds from this event benefit Hospice at Home and the South Haven Area Hospice Foundation. Tickets are $50 per person in advance, or $60 the day of the event.
