Nancy M. Wright, 78, of St. Joseph, MI, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, MI.
Nancy was born July 19, 1944 to the late Ralph and June Rockwood in Brooklyn, NY. Nancy enjoyed gardening and painting. Her fondest moments painting were with her son, Ken, and daughter, Kathy. She was an avid gnome collector. Nancy loved watching her passion for crafting of knitting, cross-stitch, and crochet passing on to her daughters. Most of all, Nancy loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, June (Michael) Phillips-Nemeth, Kenneth Phillips Jr., Katherine Phillips, Glenda (Jay) Moser; brother, Mike (Ginny) Rockwood; sisters, Sharon Johnson, Deborah Rockwood-Pickering, Kathleen Rockwood-Browning, Lisa Rockwood-Johnson; grandchildren, Thomas Schulte, Ashley Nemeth, Audrianna Davis, Andrea Nemeth, Nathan Zeilke, Dylan Nemeth, James Barrett; great-grandchildren, Jordyn Melvin, Kealey Collett, Blaiyne Zeilke, Bently Davis, Brooklyn Melvin, Deegan Davis, Rylee Nemeth, Edson Schulte, Torvi Davis, LillySophia Barrett, Ryder Nemeth, Apollo Barrett, Winston Schulte, Ozzy Schulte; and many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and June; husband, Jimmy A. Wright; brothers, Jim Rockwood, Skip Rockwood; and sister, Patricia Rockwood-Heselton.
Visitation for Nancy will be held at 4 pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, MI. Funeral service will follow at 6pm at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, MI.
