Johnnie L. Jefferson, 71 of Benton Harbor transitioned from this life June 17, 2023 at Corewell Health South, St. Joseph. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Johnnie was born August 27, 1951 in Belen, MS to the union of Bee and Beulah Jefferson. Johnnie had a big heart and liked everyone. He enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, driving people around town, playing the lottery and listening to music, especially the Blues, which was his favorite.
Johnnie leaves to cherish his memory, his partner Jearlene Wilburn; God-given children, Precious and Javon Beason; sisters, Flora Gilliam and Thelma Jefferson; brother, Ben Jefferson; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Robbins Brothers Funeral Home, Benton Harbor.
