Joan Ann Davidson, 90, of Niles, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023.
Joan was born on January 4, 1933 in Renovo, Pennsylvania to the late Bruce Walters Sr. and Evelyn Mae (Walizer) Walters.
Following graduation from Renovo High School, Joan attended business school and was employed as a secretary for many years. She was incredibly talented and artistic, owning 2 ceramic shops. Joan loved to play cards, sew, and cook, always having plenty to share with others. Most of all, she loved being with family. Her care for others, deep Catholic faith, smile, kindness, and beautiful, positive spirit touched everyone she ever met.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harold Walters and Bruce Walters Jr. and granddaughter, Danielle Marie Garvin.
Joan is survived by her children, Deborah (Leonard) Garvin of Niles, MI, Christopher Davidson and Steven Davidson, both of FL; grandchildren, Kristen (Mike) Garvin Podell of South Bend, IN and Joseph (Brittany) Garvin of Niles, MI; 3 great-grandchildren, Cody, Colby and Case of Niles, MI and brothers, Francis (Suzanne) Walters of The Villages, FL and Ronnie Walters of Leesburg, FL.
Services will be held at a later date with a final resting place at North Bend Cemetery in North Bend, Pennsylvania.
Memorial contributions may be made in Joan’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Niles, MI.
