Donna Suzanne Deville, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2024, in St. Joseph, Michigan. Born on June 6, 1962, in Natchitoches, Louisiana, Donna’s warm spirit and generous heart touched everyone she met.

After completing high school, Donna furthered her education at Louisiana State University for two years before answering the call of duty to serve her country. She enlisted in the United States Air Force, where she dedicated herself as a hospital corpsman with unwavering commitment and compassion. Following her military service, Donna embarked on a fulfilling career as a nurse, a role that perfectly encapsulated her desire to care for others. Her gentle demeanor and tireless dedication to her patients exemplified the very essence of nursing.

Donna leaves behind a loving family: her devoted husband, David Fitzgerald; her step-children, David (Rebecca) Fitzgerald, Kelly (Shawn) Borsma, Erin (Mike) Nelson, and Megan Fitzgerald; and the cherished memories of her late parents, Gerald D. Deville, Cora (Baker) McNeely, and step-father Charles McNeely.

Donna has been cremated and her family will be remembering her privately.
