Featuring: Caleb Harris, Guest Conductor and the Citadel Symphony Chorus
Celebrate the season with the SMSO as Guest Conductor Caleb Harris leads the orchestra and the Citadel Symphony Chorus on a variety of holiday melodies including arrangements of “What Sweeter Music” and “Silent Night” by acclaimed British composer John Rutter. In addition, the audience will thrill to many musical surprises in a special arrangement of the “12 Days of Christmas” by David Chase originally performed by the acclaimed Boston Pops Orchestra. The evening will round out with performances of John Williams “Merry Christmas” and a rousing rendition of Handel’s ever popular “Hallelujah Chorus.”
