When a family has a health crisis, the entire family is affected, particularly the children who may not be able to express their emotional needs. As a support group for children and families impacted by cancer, we bring local artists and children together in a way where art can be used as an expression of feelings. At the end of the year, we showcase the art that is created and invite the community to join us to support families impacted by cancer.

In addition to the art displays, activities will include:
• Interactive art projects for the entire family
• professional face painting
• Live music including John Tolhuizen of Mockingbird and music students of Michael Koch
• Meeting the artists and learning about therapeutic art
• Delicious refreshments (you won’t have to make supper)
• Silent auction
• You will be able to obtain an art piece for a donation

Purpose: to raise awareness regarding the impact of cancer on the family and to invite the community to show support in a way that is fun for the entire family.
