Steven James German, 51, of New Troy, formerly of Three Oaks, died peacefully Sunday evening, July 29, 2018 in the comfort of his home in his family’s presence.
Steven was born Wednesday, January 25, 1967 in Saint Joseph, Michigan, the only son of James and Karen German. He married Betty Jean Arivett Kemp March 5, 1988 in Bridgman, Michigan. She survives.
Steve was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a jack of all trades and a hard worker. He enjoyed fishing and was quite a jokester.
Steve will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Betty German of New Troy; three daughters, Sally German of New Troy, Margaret German of Berrien Springs, Tonya Krueger of Niles; six grandchildren, Jasmaine Kubik, Kaine Kniola, both of Michigan city, Sydney Krueger, Cole Krueger, both of Niles, Mark Sebasty, Jr, Addisyn German, both of New Troy; two great granddaughters, Anna Grove, Aurora Kubik; mother, Karen Durran of Ohio; father, James (Diane) German of Illinois; and two sisters, Cheryl (John) Weber of Ohio, and Laura (Jacqueline) Aviles of South Carolina.
Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life on a date and at a time to be announced.
