Almost every family has been touched, sometimes devastated, by cancer…
On Saturday, June 25, our community will be holding its annual Relay for Life. Many of our friends and neighbors, including a team from our congregation, will be participating in this symbolic fight against this dreaded disease.
This year, we would like to take these efforts just one step farther. We would like to invite our entire community to a special service in which we will take the time to celebrate the valiant efforts of those who have been on the frontlines of this fight, either as patients, caregivers, or family members.
We want to celebrate both, the lives of those who have passed from our midst, as well as those who survive and continue the fight.
We want to offer a message of hope that is uniquely tied to our faith to those people who are constantly inundated by statistics of doom and gloom.
There will be uplifting music and opportunities to share. A special offering for the Berrien County Cancer Service will be taken. And we will end the service with a time of healing prayer for all who wish to be blessed in that way.
