During this delicious program, campers will connect local agriculture to the food on our tables! We’ll visit the blueberry fields at Crane’s Orchard to learn all about how the fruit is grown, harvested, and packaged.

Campers pick blueberries, then visit the Pie Pantry to learn about how fruit is sorted and selected for Crane’s blueberry pies. Next, they line up at the dough station for a hands-on experience creating a lattice-top crust for their own pies.

While their pies are baking, campers will decorate pie boxes and have a lunch in the orchard. Back in the SCA studio, campers will create blueberry inspired artwork. You’ll go home with your own full pie plus your artwork!
