THE ANIMALS RELY ON US! WE MUST RELY ON YOU! On Saturday, July 2, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. we will be at Nye’s Apple Barn raising money for the 11 dogs rescued from a hoarding situation. We rescued these dogs last week after we received a call for help from another shelter in the area. Multiple dogs needed to be rehomed from a hoarding situation with horrendous conditions. There are MORE DOGS that need our help from this hoarding situation. As space becomes available at our shelter through adoptions, we will continue to assist in rescuing additional dogs from this situation.

Hot dog, chips, and pop for a $3 donation. Baked goods, Fannie Mae candy bars, homemade dog treats; cat and dog related items, and HSSM t-shirts, sweatshirts, and fandanas for sale.

ALL MONEY from sales and donations will be used for these 11 dogs, plus additional dogs rescued. Of the 11 dogs rescued, 1 has an injured back leg and 3 have already tested positive for heartworm and will need treatment.

In addition to monetary donations, we will need DRY/CAN PUPPY FOOD for these 11 dogs. Additional donations include dry/can kitten/cat food, dry/can dog food, cat/dog treats, cat litter (clay, non clumping), bleach, laundry soap, dish soap, floor cleaning supplies (non-pine scent), and paper towels.
