Project Appleseed will be holding an event at the Watervliet Rod and Gun Club on April 22-23, 2017. An initiative of the Revolutionary War Veterans Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Project Appleseed focuses on teaching traditional rifle marksmanship skills while reconnecting Americans of all ages and backgrounds to the people and events of the founding of our country. In this 2-day clinic, participants will learn about the difficult choices, heroic actions and sacrifices that the Founders made on their behalf in order to secure our nation’s independence and freedom. This event is special in that it honors April 19,1775 and the Battles of Lexington and Concord…the first shots of the American Revolutionary War. The Watervliet Rod and Gun Club is located at 3413 Hennessey Road in Watervliet, Michigan.
