Lakeshore High School Performing Arts Department will be presenting Rodger and Hammerstein’s South Pacific. A musical set in an island paradise during World War II, two parallel love stories are threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war. Including popular, memorable songs like “Gonna Wash that Man Right Outta My Hair” and “There is Nothing like a Dame,” this beautiful story allows the audience to realize that life is too short not to seize the chance for happiness, and to confront and conquer prejudices.
