The Twin City Players (TCP) presents Calendar Girls by Tim Firth September 30-October 23, 2016, directed by Dave Goodyear and sponsored by The Herald-Palladium.
When Annie’s husband John dies of leukemia, she and best friend Chris resolve to raise money for a new settee in the local hospital waiting room. They manage to persuade four fellow WI members to pose nude with them for an “alternative” calendar, with a little help from hospital porter and amateur photographer Lawrence. The news of the women’s charitable venture spreads like wildfire. The calendar is a success, but Chris and Annie’s friendship is put to the test under the strain of their new-found fame.

Tickets will be $12-15. There is a $1 charge, per ticket, for all ticket sales. Group rates are also available. Flex Passes for the 2016-2017 season will go on sale later this summer. All seats are reserved. Reservations can be made online at twincityplayers.org or by calling the TCP box office at 269-429-0400. Performance times are 8 PM for Friday and Saturday evening performances. Sunday performances will now be held at 2 PM. All performances take place at the Twin City Players Playhouse located at 600 West Glenlord Road in St. Joseph.
