The Twin City Players (TCP) presents Peter and the Starcatcher, a play by Rick Elice, based on the Novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, music by Wayne Barker, based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, December 2-18, 2016, directed by Paul Mow and sponsored by Whirlpool Corporation.
Tony-winning Peter and the Starcatcher upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan comes to be The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (a.k.a. Peter Pan). A wildly theatrical adaptation of Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling novels, the play was conceived for the stage by directors Roger Rees and Alex Timbers and written by Rick Elice with music by Wayne Barker. From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of greed and despair and the bonds of friendship, duty, and love.

Tickets will be $12-15. There is a $1 charge, per ticket, for all ticket sales. Group rates are also available. Flex Passes for the 2016-2017 season will go on sale later this summer. All seats are reserved. Reservations can be made online at twincityplayers.org or by calling the TCP box office at 269-429-0400. Performance times are 8 PM for Friday and Saturday evening performances. Sunday performances will now be held at 2 PM. All performances take place at the Twin City Players Playhouse located at 600 West Glenlord Road in St. Joseph.
