The story of Emmett Till was silenced for over 50 years in the wake of his brutal murder on August 28,1955. In 2005, new information came to light regarding what actually occurred when Caroline Bryant encountered Emmett Till at Bryant’s Grocery in Money, Mississippi.

Jim Herm will share his research into the post Civil War South, the legacy of Emmett Till, and the start of the civil rights movement.
