Twin City Toastmasters is hosting an open house featuring special guest Brenda Beadenkopf. Brenda is a local writer and speaker and is a board member of the Underground Railroad Society in Cass County. In 1963, Brenda took part in the March on Washington as a teenager with her father, Charles C. Walker, one of the organizers of that great march. She will share how the experience of hearing Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech in person changed her life. This event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:45pm.
